Cambridge Community Library is one of our most valuable community institutions. The Friends is proud to support the library through:

  • community advocacy, activities, and events
  • membership
  • and the management of funds raised by the Library.

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO JOIN US!

Your membership helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults through the many library programs and collections.

Help Raise Funds for the
Friends of the Library

Save your receipts from the Piggly Wiggly and take them to the library.  For each receipt we collect, we earn cash for library programming and materials!

When you link to Amazon.com through
this site, each purchase you make will automatically earn a donation for the Friends.

GOT MAGAZINES?

Why not recycle them at the library?  And by recycle we mean sharing with other patrons to get more use out of the magazines before they hit the recycling plant.

The Library and its Friends are sponsoring a magazine exchange.  Bring your slightly used ones to the library, place them on the table in the hall near the library--and then just help yourself to the ones you find there.  The selection varies in titles and numbers from week to week, but as the donations grow, so should the collection.

The library and Friends are making this joint effort to help patrons think green, not only towards the Earth, but their purses, too, since exchanging is cheaper than buying.
