RAFFLE

The raffle is held in conjunction with the annual craft fair. Donations are sought from local businesses and individuals in exchange for publicity during the event.

Chairperson

Term: One year; additional terms may be held by an individual.

Overview: The role of the Raffle Committee Chairperson is to organize the raffle held in conjuction with the annual Craft Fair in November.

Secure the raffle license.
Solicit donations for the raffle
Coordinate printing of the tickets
Coordinate publicity of the raffle
Coordinate sales of the tickets
Handle the collection and display of the donated prizes
Handle the drawing of winners after the Craft Fair
Contact winners of prizes
Thank the individuals and businesses that donated the prizes

Volunteer Opportunities

The Friends are looking for an individual or group of individuals to solicit prized for the raffle and coordinate the publicity for the event. Individuals are also needed to help sell raffle tickets the day of the event.
