Friends of the Cambridge Community Library

Supporting the library through community advocacy, fundraising, and volunteerism.

A library has always provided more than books — this has never been more true!

Libraries offer the public a wide variety of important services and our Cambridge Community Library is no exception.  Whether providing information assistance, social opportunities, a technological hub, or a place for kids to play, our library offers it all in a safe and welcoming environment.  Simply put, the library strengthens our community and brings people together.

The Friends of the Cambridge Community Library’s mission is to support the library by community advocacy, fundraising, and volunteering our time and efforts. Membership dues along with proceeds from fundraising events and donations are used to help finance library programs and services, purchase new materials, and provide a nest egg for future needs of the library.

Support the Cambridge Community Library by shopping at Cambridge Piggly Wiggly and turning in your receipts to us. Simply ask for an orange sticker to be placed on the back of your receipt at check-out, then drop off your receipts at the library. The library will earn a percentage of all sales (excluding alcohol and cigarettes) to be used toward programming and funding of library initiatives.

Special thanks to Mike and Amy Day and their crew at the Pig for making this fundraiser possible!
