Volunteer
The Friends is a volunteer organization which is heavily dependent on community support and there are a number of ways you can help out, whether you are a member or not.
TIME AND TALENT
- Perform a variety of tasks at the library such as shelving or helping to maintain the order of materials.
- Art and Craft Sale
- Book Sale
- Raffle
- Books At Home
- Public Awareness
- Membership Outreach
PARTICIPATE IN FUNDRAISING
The Friends operate or sponsor several programs and events to raise money.
- Donate books, puzzles, DVDs or a basket for our raffles
- Work shifts in various capacities at our annual Book Sale and Art & Craft Sale
- Shop at Piggly Wiggly and bring your receipts to the library; a portion of your total will be donated to our group
ADVOCATE
Help make local, county and state officials aware of the importance of our library systems.
